The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in cooperation with the Information Technology Center / University of Technology, organized a conference to present the electronic system for managing and archiving the monthly achievement data of universities. The conference was held for two days: the first at Al-Nahrain University on 11/15/2022 and was dedicated to government universities, and the second at Al-Bayan University on 11/16/2022 and was dedicated to private universities.

The Information Technology Center, represented by the Director of the Information Center at the conference, reviewed the aspects and benefits of the electronic system dedicated to organizing, creating and archiving central data and indexed and electronically classified data that is easy to retrieve and can be reviewed at anytime and anywhere, in addition to the possibility of issuing detailed reports of all data revealing rates. Achievement and its stages and put them in the service of the concerned authorities.

Noting that the government program department in the ministry provides a detailed report that includes the activities of the universities

government, private universities and colleges within specific axes on a monthly basis to enhance coordination paths between the ministry’s formations, and that the images of this joint work included that the Information Technology Center at the University of Technology design and develop the system that will be assigned the tasks of storing and preserving all data related to achievements, activities and administrative and academic dealings for all government, private universities and colleges on a monthly basis, and then submit it to the relevant authorities.

In response to the invitation of Al-Sarraj Al-Modie’ Company, an elite from the Information Technology Center at the University of Technology attended an introductory scientific seminar to exchange information technology expertise and security solutions at the company’s headquarters located in Baghdad / Al-Wahda neighborhood / Street 52 on 7/11/2022, and this seminar came out of The principle of cooperation between the academic sector and the private sector, and the Information Technology Center represented a group of competencies of the center's staff, including lecturers and employees, represented by: Dr. Salam Jassem Helou and Assistant lecturer. Ali Mohammed Hussein and Assistant lecturer Hassan Abdul-Hadi Kazem and Assistant lecturer. Omar Hadib Saadoun and Assistant lecturer and Senior Engineer Mohammed Muwafaq Mohammed.

   The Information Technology Center, Networks Division, is holding a course (Checking, maintenance and welding Fiber Optic cable) at the Information Technology Center (attendance) on 11/13/2022 to 11/17/2022.

The course aims to introduce the participant to the methods of checking the fiber optic cable using the OTDR device and welding the optical cable using the Fujikura welding device.
