The Systems and Electronic Administration Division / Information Technology Center built and designed the My Activities platform system on 11/08/2022, as it was uploaded to a server that includes all university systems in the Information Technology Center.
The design of this system came at the request of the Studies and Planning Division / Office of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, in order to document all the activities of the departments such as “a workshop, a conference, a meeting, a course, a seminar … etc.” to analyze them and extract statistics that require By the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research periodically.
This system was built and designed with the latest programming languages and was uploaded to the server in cooperation with the Networks Division / Information Technology Center.
The Committee for the Management and Organization of Electronic Examinations for Employment, which is composed of the staff of the Information Technology Center, has started performing the electronic examinations required by the Federal Public Service Council to employing people with supportive health professions (scientists) in the following examination centers:
- Information Technology Center / Internet Hall
- Department of Civil Engineering / Electronic Classroom
- Department of Electromechanical Engineering / Electronic Classroom
On 11/28-29/2022, a staff from the Information Technology Center made all preparations, provided devices, equipment, internet service, and organized exams in the form of three meals for the participants, in order to complete the exams in an optimal manner.
The Division of Electronic Systems and Administration / Information Technology Center has created an electronic program to provide the faculty staff in all formations of the University of Technology with passwords, with a link to enter the digital repository system on 11/28/2022.
This program has been programmed in the Information Technology Center in modern and international languages. The Division has created this program to ensure that passwords and the link to the program are available to all faculty staff automatically.
An entertaining scientific training camp for cyber security
Written by aseelWith the increasing dependence on the digital services provided by the University of Technology through the Information Technology Center and the advantages offered by these services and the rise of digital threats, it has become one of the most important priorities of the university to depend on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in approving specialized programs and courses in cyber security to serve the faculty and university students.
And as a contribution to increasing the level of students’ awareness of digital threats and their risks and damages, we would like to inform you about the establishment of a scientific, training and entertainment camp for cyber security in cooperation with the Firewall Company for Cyber security Services. Participants and providing them with housing and training at a price of (130) US dollars, as the amount decreases as the number of participating students increases.
Therefore, we invite all scientific departments to discuss their students to participate in this scientific training camp by filling out the information in the electronic form below. Note that the camp will be held during the spring break, according to the attached program.
