Assistant lecturer. Saleh Saad Saleh one of the faculty at the University of Technology / Information Technology Center for the first time in the Middle East, received an international certificate for the Canvas platform (Canvas Certified Educator for Higher Education) on 10/31/2022 issued by the American Instructor Company in order to represent the university. Technology is the best representation in the success of the process of adopting a smart and advanced higher education platform such as CANVAS Learning Management System, where he participated in a special training program to prepare globally licensed lecturer for the Canvas e-learning system, and the program consisted of six paid courses, which started from June 2021 and officially ended in the last of October 2022.

     Under the supervision of. Director of the Information Technology Center, a workshop was organized by (assistant lecturer. Samer Raad Azzawi, senior researcher Samar Hussam Al-Deen, and senior engineer Nabaa Saeb Mahmoud) Systems and Electronic Management Division, on the mechanism of the work of the planned , completed and published research system on 08/11 / 2022 at the Information Technology Center in the presence of Members of the association of all university departments Where the windows of the system were reviewed, how to deal with them, and the distribution of accounts to the members of the association of departments in the university.

  In cooperation with the Office of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs and the division of Journals, the Director of the Information Technology Center give an electronic workshop entitled Using the University of Technology’s Research System website, on Wednesday, 09/11/2022, at seven in the evening, on the Zoom platform.

   This workshop came as a result of the University of Technology's endeavor to increase the number of citations for research by the university's faculty and researchers. This workshop was carried out by sending electronic links to all university formations, and attendance was mandatory for all university faculty.

     Assistant Professor Doctor. Ghassan Abdel-Hussein Bilal, Director of Information Technology Center participated, with membership in the discussion committee for a master's thesis tagged (Application of machine learning algorithms to classify medical data on premature births) at the College of Engineering, Iraqi University, on 10/31/2022

    The thesis included the construction of a predictive model capable of predicting preterm labor based on personal records previously and giving accurate results that contribute significantly to assisting obstetricians in taking the necessary measures.

The thesis aimed to collect real data of Iraqi women in Iraqi hospitals and analyze them with the help of experts in the field of gynecology and obstetrics.
