The Information Technology Center, Ibn Sina E-Learning Division, at the University of Technology organized a specialized workshop on ((Applied Research, a project of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to link ministries and state institutions in research)) on the conference hall in the Department of Control and Systems Engineering.

The lecture was delivered in the workshop by Prof. Dr. Youssef Khalaf Youssef, Director of the Pioneering Projects Department in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Coordinator of the Digital Transformation Committee, and the workshop dealt with research products between optimism and pessimism, the philosophy of the project, its goal and implementation stages, the required data and the government program.

The workshop aimed to provide a database that would ensure the success of research and scientific activities and applied research, support the applied research movement, build scientific capacity and finance research projects.

Assistant. Lecturer. Mohammad Sabah Rasheed, at the Information Technology Center, participated in the membership of the Ministerial Committee in the Management of the Risk and Weakness point (RVA) of the University of Technology. Where the committee identified a number of important factors, including: fires • environmental risks • epidemics. • Natural disasters • Security breach • Obsolescence of buildings and these axes were chosen based on the objectives. The purpose of the committee is to prepare a report to enhance the university's ability to face crises and ensure the safety of university workers. The report was submitted to the Ministerial Committee on 14/5/2022.

       Under the supervision of the respected Director of the Information Technology Center, Assistant Lecturer. Muhammad Sabah Rashid / Director of the University Sites Division, in cooperation with Dr. Salam Jassim Helou / Supervisor of the University’s websites, giving a workshop for the upcoming events system, at the Information Technology Center, on 04/26/2022, to organize and coordinate the uploading of upcoming events for all university formations to the upcoming electronic event system, in the presence of the members of the association for all university formations.

      The Information Technology Center / Networks Division has established a wired and wireless internal network in the Human Resources Department / the Presidency of the University of Technology, linking with the internal network of the university's optical cable, for the purpose of using and benefiting from it to operate the department's internal electronic systems. The work has been accomplished in cooperation with the Department of Internal Sections / Internet Unit.
