According to the direction of the President of the University of Technology, Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Hassan Al-Ghabban, the respected, and the assistant to the president of the university for scientific affairs, Dr. Haider Abd Dahd, the respected, and under the direct supervision of the Director of the Information Technology Center, Dr. Ghassan Abdul-Hussein Bilal Al-Sultani, the respected, Information Technology Center held a workshop on displaying the salaries of university employees Electronically.

The goal of the system /- Displaying the employees' salary details, such as promotions differences, bonuses, spousal maintenance, net salary, and other information electronically- Not to deal on paper with data on the salaries of university employees, which reduces financial and administrative effort- The system helps all affiliates to know the details of their salaries at any time through a password for each affiliate, which limits the number of reviews to the Financial Affairs Department at the University Presidency.

Under the auspices of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Haider Abd Dahd, the respected, a joint workshop was held between the Information Technology Center and the Central Library on 1/4/2021, concerned with linking the university's subsidiary libraries in departments with the Central Library electronically by creating a common database for all libraries within The University of Technology includes the available book sources, as the Information Technology Center adopted the technical department in the process of managing the work. Through the workshop, the representatives of the departments were explained and trained on how to deal with the project technically, while the Central Library Department was committed to the responsibility of explaining and clarifying the work administratively through the same workshop.

Recently, Assistant Lecturer Idrees Alaa Zahid who works at the Information Technology Center in the University of Technology got his certificate as an International Peer Scientific advisor. This certification was granted by Publons Academy which is owned by Clarivate Analytics for assessing the scientific researches and maintaining their standards.

In order to acquire the certificate, A.L. Idrees had to pass the training course and meet the academy requirements. Then, he had to write an evaluation for two already published scientific researches that to be assessed later on by a supervisor in the Publons Academy.
