Assist. Lec. Ali Abdul Latif Abdul Bari, a lecturer at Information Technology Center, published a research about:

A New Technique of FSS-Based Novel Chair-Shaped Compact MIMO Antenna to Enhance the Gain for Sub-6GHz 5G Applications

In a magazine:

IEEE Access (Open Access: Multidisciplinary Open Access Journal)

The research is within Scops container and an Impact Factor (3.9). In addition to ISI Journals (Clarivate’s Analysis) and an impact factor of (Q1).

This paper introduce a new compact Chair-shapped MIMO antenna with two radiating elements a single layer of frequency-selective surface (FSS) for 5G Sub-6GHz communication systems. They use two techniques, parasitic element and (FSS), for isolation and gain enhancement, respectively.
