Receiving laptops from the World Food Organization provided to Jousour program trainees
In execution of the University Presidency instructions, work continues to carry out the World Food Program (WFP) / Jousour, today, January 24, 2024, (99) Laptops are received from the organization to distribute them on the program participants, in the presence each of, the Director of Studies and Planning Department, Assist. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Muayad Taha, the Director of Information Technology Center, Lecturer, Ali Abdul-Razzaq Tarish, (WFP) representative, and a technical staff from the Center.
Whereas the work being underway and ongoing to achieve the best technical services for program participants in the public interest.

A training course closure

A training course provided by the Information Technology Center to the medical assistants, fighters, and sacrifices affairs was concluded, during which 25 affiliates were trained for two weeks on computer principles and skills.
The course concluded with the participants being honored by the Assistant President of Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Farhad Muhammad Othman, with approved certificates of participation.



Regular meeting of developing the University website
Under the direct supervision of the Assistant President of Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Khawla Salah Khashan, the Information Technology Center hosted the regular meeting on Thursday, 01/11/2024. In which initial steps were set to develop the University website, began to apply and study all technical requirements and the preparation qualified cadres to raise the website level to keep pace with the modernity and digital transformation that the country is witnessing.

Launching of training course program JSOUR at the University of Technology
With the direct supervision of the University of Technology President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Hassan Al-Ghaban, the presence and fulfillment of the Supervisory Committee Chairman at the University of Technology, President Assistant of Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Khawla Salah Khashan, the training course program, JSOUR, launched via Online lectures of English language and computer fields.
The course included thirteen groups of 350 trainees of two levels: the first is for beginners and the second is for advanced. When this course is finished, it is going to launch entrepreneurship and employment in the labor market course. This program is based on the agreement terms held between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research with the World Food Programmed in six Iraqi governorates, including Baghdad Governorate, which is supervised by the University of Technology.
