Assist. Lect. Abu Bakr Saeb, from Information Technology Center, published a research entitled

(Review on Hybrid Swarm Algorithms for Feature Selection)

In "Iraqi Journal of Science" which classified within Scopus containers.

The research includes a full review of feature selection problem using hybrid swarm algorithms that were developed within 2018 and 2021.

These algorithms contribute to enhancing classification accuracy and performance on diverse data sets.

In implementation of the terms of the agreement signed between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the United Nations World Food Organization on 12/6/2023, procedures for receiving applicants for the JUSOOR Program of the above-mentioned organization (WFP) were launched at the University of Technology/ Information Technology Center, where candidates were received. The program was completed through the interview committee and the data entry committee, with the direct supervision and support of the President of the University of Technology and the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, after launching an electronic nomination form within Baghdad Governorate. The interviews will continue for two days, starting from Wednesday, December 20, 2023, until Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the University of Technology / Information Technology Center.

Based on the directives of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the direct supervision of the University Presidency, the Information Technology Center held a training workshop for the second updated version of the system for the authenticity of issuance of secured documents, in the Center’s hall on Tuesday, 12/26/2023, where the workshop was opened by the Director of the Center. Lecturer/ Ali Abdel Razzaq Tarish, and the workshop was delivered by L. Samer Alaa and Chief Engineers Rasha Abd al-Rasoul Abd al-Hussein. The workshop was attended by representatives from all university formations that deal with the transactions of the authenticity of the issuance of university documents and official documents. The workshop lasts for two days.
