In order to raise the level of academic scientific research in Iraq and enhance and enrich the means and tools used by researchers to ensure a high-level practical product.
The Department of Scientific Affairs at the University of Technology organizes a lecture in the field of academic scientific research entitled (Integrating AI Tools for Advanced Data Analysis).

Sponsored by the President of the University of Technology, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Hassan Al-Ghaban, and supervised by vice-president of the University for Scientific Affairs and High Studies, Prof. Dr. Khawla Salah Khashan, along with the presence of a group of university lecturers; the center of Information Technology closed the fourth summer camp under the slogan “We Set our Goals with the Aid of God, and Reached them with Effort and Giving”.
The summer camp was attended by the sons of the University of Technology and closed with a certification ceremony. This camp includes distinguished scientific and interesting activities to keep pace with the development in the programming and technical field and to learn about the latest developments in the field of artificial intelligence and its applications. Thus, the journey of success achieved by this camp is completed, through which it strengthened the distinguished societal role of our pioneering university in serving the community and developing its children. It is worth mentioning that this camp was organized and managed by the Information Technology Center at the University of Technology.
The Information Technology Center, in cooperation with the Department of Financial and Administrative Affairs, held the second workshop regarding the electronic link system between the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs and all university formations, under direct supervision by the committee in charge of electronic linking.
In the presence of 38 representatives from the university’s departments,they were trained on the work mechanism for the purpose of simplifying administrative procedures and speeding up responses, and to complete the second phase of the electronic governance project, on Wednesday, 7/10/2024, in the center’s main hall.




Under the direct guidance of University of Technology President, Professor Dr. Ahmed Hassan Al-Ghabban, a field and practical visit was organized by a university committee charged with coordination and cooperation with the National Data Center affiliated with the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers for the purpose of benefiting from its great potential to support and develop electronic services at the University of Technology.
The committee included Prof. Dr. Hassan Jalil Hassan, Head of Computer Engineering Department, Prof. Dr. Alaa Kahdim Farhan, Head of the Computer Science Department, and Lec. Dr. Amir Musa Thuwaini, Head of the Network Engineering Branch of the Computer Engineering Department and Lecturer / Ali Abdul-Razzaq Tarish, Director of Information Technology Center at the University of Technology.
The committee in charge received a good reception from the employees of the National Data Center at the scientific and practical levels, ways of cooperation were discussed to provide hosting for the electronic services of the University of Technology from other sites and systems in implementation of the recommendations of the Council of Ministers for digital transformation. They also learned about the national information systems available at the center that can be benefited from to develop the university’s electronic services. The visit also included reviewing the infrastructure of the National Data Center and reviewing the systems used in its establishment according to solid international standards to be taken as a model to be emulated in the event that it is possible to establish a data center for the university that aims to host its local systems and develop its scientific research for its faculty staff and graduate and undergraduate students.
