According to the directives of the University Presidency, the University Websites Division at the Information Technology Center held a workshop for classifying Iraqi universities’ websites on Monday 6/9/2021 in the presence of the members of the website link for the scientific departments and members of the link of centers and university directorates.

The workshop was opened by the Director of the Information Technology Center D. Ghassan Abdul-Hussein Bilal and gave it by Assistant teacher. Mohamed Sabah The workshop included the following topics:1. The Iraqi Ranking Guide for Universities.2. Site content management.3. Training and information recycling.The views of the attendees and their valuable suggestions were listened to and their inquiries were answered. At the end of the workshop, all members of the association thanked all members of the association for their essential and valuable effort in the work of university websites.

In cooperation between the Systems Building Division and the Maintenance Division in the Information Technology Center, the Electronic Competitive Exam has been implemented and managed for the Computer Science Department.

This step, came after the Computer Science Departement request to use this exam as a tool for assessment of the applicants students for postgraduate studies.

The objective of the electronic exam: To develop the examination process and to ensure the highest levels of transparency, accuracy and speed. Also, to reduce the disadvantages of the traditional paper exam.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The University of Technology announces the launch of the first electronic platform at the level of Iraqi universities concerned with electronic payment. As the University of Technology sought to keep pace with developed countries in electronic payment services.

Dr. Ahmed Al-Ghabban, President of the University of Technology, said during the signing of the electronic platform contract with Key International, that "the University of Technology seeks to keep pace with technical progress in the countries of the world within its strategy to implement the electronic university, and the first strategy is to adopt electronic payment to facilitate the conduct of financial payment transactions." In addition, he pointed out that "this service also provides reliable information related to financial operations. In order to facilitate payment procedures for researchers and students with different countries of the world and achieve scientific integration."

In turn, he commended the shareholders for preparing the project and working on it from a technical, financial and legal point of view. Wishing them more giving to serve the University of Technology.
