Center Management

 

       The Information Technology Center (ITC) is a board of directors, follows up on the affairs of its technical people and works and submits proposals that will improve its work and increase the efficiency of its performance in order to develop the Center's work. The IT center and its services are distributed in six divisions, headed by the Director of the Information Technology Center. The Centre keens to be distinguished and unique in its field of specialization, and responds to the requirements of the University and society.

Keeping pace with modern technological developments, contributes to the development and promotion of e-governance and the economic knowledge.

Message:

The Centre, with its ethics commitments, provides high quality telecommunications, information technology and electronic systems services that meet global standards to support education, scientific research and the promotion of development locally and nationally through transparency, accountability and efficiency.

 

Objectives:

1- To develop the university E-government the university, and the transformation of services and systems into electronic status, strengthening the necessary infrastructure and developing the capabilities of human cadres.

2- To improve the university's website and reflect scientific and educational progress, and be an interactive platform for students, professors and staff.

3- To develop the e-learning system in line with international standards to raise the University's profile globally.

4- To create interactive applications for students dealing with university libraries and global scientific resources.

5- To cooperate in research and development projects with ministries and other universities, and provide scientific advice in various scientific and technological disciplines.

6- To collaborate with the private sector to achieve sustainable development and community service, and share scientific experiences in the fields of computer literacy and information technology for both public and special sector.
